Semi-Independent Placements

Semi-Independent Placements

BFSWS offers flexible and personalised shared-living experiences for young individuals, complemented by therapeutic support. In our semi-independent residences, we extend support to young individuals by prioritising investment in our staff and dedicated efforts to create an exceptional service for them. Each of our 24/7 staffed homes is equipped with a core team, including a Manager, Team Leader, and Support Workers. This structure is implemented to maintain a consistently high standard of service. Additionally, we extend outreach services to support young people who have their own accommodation.

About our Semi-Independent Placements

Welcome to Better Families Social Work Services, where our mission is to shape promising paths for at-risk children and young adults aged 16 to 24 in the UK. Our dedication revolves around offering secure supported housing, rehabilitation programs, and aid in employment, community assimilation, and fostering sustainable independent living.

Our range of services has evolved to encompass 24/7 staffed residences, standalone housing, and outreach programs. Presently, we operate 6 staffed semi-independent facilities providing therapeutic and individualised care and assistance.

We embrace individuals from diverse backgrounds and situations, firmly believing in affording every individual the opportunity they deserve.
