Selection Criteria:

  • Professionally Qualified
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Five years experience in Social Work Practice
  • Have Excellent Analysis and Report Writing Skills
  • Relevant experience and confidence to act as an Expert Witness
  • Self-employed or work on a limited company basis
  • Hold an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Certificate
  • Hold Professional Indemnity insurance
  • Hold Public Liability insurance

Step 1

The application form will be screened and the Applicant will be emailed within 5 working days regarding the outcome.

Step 2

Qualifying Applicant will be required to provide an anonymized report and any other supporting documents.

Step 3

Applicant will be invited to a telephone interview.

Reference checks will be conducted.

Step 6

Successful Applicant will be e-mailed the BFSWS Welcome Pack to become an Independent Social Worker on behalf of BFSWS.
